We started this website to address one of our main complaints about the news today--there is no background information given to understand the issue and the media does not take the time to explain. Perhaps they think no one cares or perhaps they think we are too stupid to understand. Perhaps it comes down to not enough time, print space or money. Their reasons are irrelevant. 

We are going to address those questions beginning with our own questions and addressing our readers’ questions. We will be doing the research to find facts. Where there are not enough facts or research to support either side, we will report our research for all sides of the issue. We are going to look critically at statistics and explain those too. We will not be taking a position, and while we may give our or others’ opinions on occasion, we will make it obvious that it is an opinion.

We will spend hours researching questions to give the background on the issues so you don’t have to spend hours doing your own research. We will provide you with references so if you wish, you can do your own research.
